These terms describe merchandise preorders from Fathers Are Parents Project (FAPP). Ordering is available only when the store shows an open batch and a complete checkout. Browsing the collection does not place an order or reserve merchandise.
Nothing charged at preorder checkout
At checkout, you review your selected product and option, quantity, delivery details, shipping, tax, total, and estimated production and shipping dates. With your permission, Stripe securely saves your payment method for one charge of the agreed total when your batch enters production. FAPP does not collect your full card number in its forms.
Completing card setup does not start manufacturing. Your preorder is confirmed when your order page shows it as reserved. Keep your order reference and recovery code.
Production start and delivery estimates
We show an estimated production start and a separate estimated shipping window before you confirm your preorder. These are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Production begins for a batch when FAPP releases that batch for production; only successfully paid orders may be sent to the supplier for manufacturing.
If the schedule changes, we will notify affected customers before charging them. You can review the updated schedule and cancel while your batch has not entered production. If a delay occurs after production begins, contact FAPP to discuss your available options.
Your agreed total
The checkout total includes merchandise, the selected shipping service, and applicable tax. All amounts are shown in US dollars. Your accepted total is the amount authorized for the production-start charge. An increase or other change to that total requires a fresh quote and your consent; we do not silently change your accepted amount.
A quote is available for a limited time. Changing your product, quantity, delivery details, or shipping service requires an updated quote. Merchandise purchases are not represented as tax-deductible donations.
Cancel before production
You may cancel without a production-start charge before your batch enters production. Open Manage your preorder, restore access if needed, and use the cancellation option while available. A confirmed cancelled preorder will not be charged or sent to manufacturing.
The online cancellation option closes when production-start payment processing begins for your order. If the option is still available, you may use it even if the batch has just entered production. For cancellation or refund requests after it closes, contact contact@fathersareparents.org with your order reference. We will review the payment and supplier status and explain the available resolution. These terms do not limit rights that apply under law.
If a payment needs attention
If the saved payment fails or needs authentication, the order remains on hold. It will not be released to manufacturing until successful payment is confirmed. We may ask you to authenticate the existing payment from your order page. Authentication can complete that payment using the agreed amount and saved card.
If your card has been replaced or declined, contact us. Do not email card numbers or security codes. We will explain the next steps before any revised payment authorization.
Shipping and product concerns
Supported destinations and shipping services are shown during checkout. Check your delivery address carefully before confirming. Contact us promptly if the address needs correction; availability of a correction depends on the order’s progress. Tracking is provided when a shipment is confirmed.
For damaged, defective, incorrect, or missing merchandise, email your order reference and a description of the problem. Photographs can help us assess product or packaging damage. We will investigate with the fulfillment provider and discuss an appropriate resolution. For other return or refund requests, contact us with your order details before returning merchandise.
Order access and information
You can order as a guest. Your private recovery code restores access to an order in another browser. Anyone with that code can see its status, cancel before production, and open authentication for its existing payment. Store it privately and do not share it publicly.
We use your order and contact details to process the preorder, communicate order updates, arrange fulfillment, and resolve problems. Payment and fulfillment providers receive the information needed for their roles. Read our privacy information for more detail.
